Introduction and Scope

  1. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the Njaga & Co. Advocates LLP online store for legal documents and related digital content (the Platform). It governs refunds for:
    1. Standard/basic template documents (e.g., affidavits, contracts, agreements);
    2. Bespoke/ customized documents prepared based on information you provide; and
    3. Any ancillary digital materials (e.g., guides, checklists, explanatory notes).
  2. By placing an order on the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Nature of Products & Applicability

  1. Our platform offers two categories of digital legal products:
  2. Basic Standard Documents: Pre-drafted digital templates (e.g., standard affidavits, basic agreements) that are delivered instantly upon successful payment.
  3. Bespoke Standard Documents: Tailored legal documents drafted specifically to a client’s unique instructions and requirements.
  4. All products sold on the Platform are digital products, delivered electronically (for example, via download link, email, or access through your user account). No physical goods are shipped.
  5. Our documents are legal templates and tools intended to assist you. Unless expressly stated, they do not constitute legal advice tailored to your particular situation. You remain responsible for assessing suitability and, where necessary, seeking independent legal advice

General “No Refund” Rule for Digital Downloads

  1. Due to the non-returnable nature of digital data, all sales of Our Legal Documents are considered final. Once a document has been purchased and the download link has been sent, accessed, or generated, the product is deemed “used.” We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for these digital templates under any circumstances.

Non-Refundable Circumstances (Explicit Exclusions)

  1. To ensure transparency and maintain fair usage of our platform, we explicitly do not grant refunds for:
  2. Change of Mind: You no longer need the document, found an alternative, or simply changed your mind after downloading or commissioning the work.
  3. Technical Incompatibility on the User’s End: Inability to open, read, or edit the document due to a lack of appropriate software (e.g., Microsoft Word, standard PDF readers) or device compatibility issues.
  4. Lack of Legal Suitability: The basic template does not fit a highly complex or unique legal scenario that actually requires specialized, tailored legal advice.

 Limited Exceptions for Refunds

  1. We will only review and potentially authorize refunds under the following strictly defined conditions:
  2. Duplicate Payment: You were accidentally charged more than once for the same order due to a system or payment gateway error.
  3. Technical Delivery Failure: A proven system error on our platform prevented the delivery of the document, and our support team was unable to provide the document via alternative means (e.g., direct email) within 48 hours of you reporting the issue.
  4. Incorrect Billing: You were billed the wrong amount due to an error on our website.

Note: All claims falling under these exceptions must be submitted within seven (7) days of the transaction date. Claims made outside this window will be automatically dismissed.

Disclaimer of Advocate-Client Relationship

  1. Purchasing a basic or bespoke document from our e-commerce platform does not automatically establish a formal, ongoing advocate-client relationship with Njaga & Co. Advocates LLP. Documents are provided for general or specific use as drafted, and clients assume responsibility for their final application. For complex legal representation, we advise booking a formal consultation.
